Welcome to Malga Pontara, a small corner of paradise at an altitude of 1630 m, located in the part of the municipality of Bedollo that borders the Mocheni valley, near the Redebus Pass. Here you will find a welcoming structure where you can pamper yourself with simple and genuine dishes of our tradition but also spend a night at the foot of Lagorai, regenerating surrounded by pastures and woods. In fact, we have beds divided into two refuge-style dormitories, bathrooms and hot showers, dining room and bar area and a large panoramic terrace with outdoor tables and deckchairs for total relaxation.

How to get to us

By car, by bike, on horseback: on the provincial road that leads from Bedollo to the Redebus Pass, at the second hairpin bend after the town of Pitoi, a well-signposted asphalt road starts on the left. After about 3.5 km, past the hairpin bends, you will find the Pontara crossroads. Here you can leave your car and cover the last 400 flat meters on foot or come directly to us by car. We recommend caution and slow driving due to some rough sections.

To know:

For those who want to go up on foot and want to avoid the driveway, just before the Redebus Pass, the well-signposted path 443bis starts which takes you to us in about 40/50 minutes with little difference in altitude;

(*not recommended in case of heavy rain; in the winter period the use of crampons is strongly recommended due to the probable presence of ice).
